This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

Artist's Description
Dieter Carlton's beautiful rendition of Castle Neuschwanstein, Bavaria, Germany, a poem for which he wrote as follows ...
CROWN OF SWANS by Dieter Carlton
She stood upon a hilltop high.
Her towers there would pierce the sky.
Of brick and polished stone her walls,
And fresco art would line her halls.
Like melting ice her marbled floors.
Of hand-carved wood her massive doors.
Great armies could not storm this place
For kings and queens would yield her space.
In shining armor knights would pale,
This mighty rook their swords would hail.
Around her distant trees like pawns,
Would so embrace the CROWN OF SWANS.
As with all of Dieter Carlton's digital creations, this is not a photograph nor were any photographs used in creating it.
